In this collection, I wanted to explore how much I could push yarn as a sculptural medium. The outer casing appears as a calcified shell, housing a soft and playful tulle interior filled with sparkling gems. The result is an oxymoronic structure that is both whimsical and formidable: these sculptures look as though they have been summoned from the ocean, yet appear ethereal and exude comfort, softness, and delight.
